Madonna apologizes to 50 Cent over her Instagram diss

He said she was a whack job – and it looks like he didn’t have to spell it out.

In an email to TMZ, Madonna apologized to 50 Cent for mocking a G-string selfie he had posted on Instagram, calling the incident “totally misjudged” and saying she “got the message” from the rapper.

“I totally understand that not all women feel the same way I do about showing skin,” the pop diva wrote. “So I truly apologize to anyone that I offended. I feel exactly the same way about FLOTUS [First Lady Michelle Obama] and Britney [Spears] and Gisele [Bundchen] and Rihanna and so many others that I respect.”

Wrote 50 Cent: “Looks great but show a little love to the other half Barbie I said something mean but it was tongue in cheek with all due respect to Madge. She’s beautiful and has done so much for women around the world.”

(Madonna has to feel pretty good about herself now: In July, she was working on her OWN show “Revolver,” in which she’d hold audition-like town hall-style conversations with real people about her principles and opinions on life. So far, an episode called “The Truth About Drugs” has been posted, starring Madonna as a substance abuser.)
