Formula One start time: When is the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix this weekend and which TV channel is it on?

Friday 27 October 12:15am BST (3:15am local time)

Saturday 28 October 11:15am BST (3:15am local time)

Sunday 29 October 9:30am BST (2:30am local time)

In a return to its traditional format, the 2017 F1 season will resume with the Saudi Arabian GP. A repeat of 2016’s race, the 12th at the new $5bn circuit in Yas Marina, this year sees the series back on Friday night TV following a one-off show. The 200,000 crowd expected to welcome in the new season at Yas Marina is one of the largest in F1’s history. While a week of warmer weather means no plans to cut the race short, it is worth noting the distance of the 1.6-mile circuit (2.7km), which will have less than 6mph of track spread out.
